HOW TIMP-TUNER™ WORKS WITH OTHER DRUMS

ABOUT THIS VIDEO: This is a walk through a music store, trying the Timp-Tuner™ on different drums in the shop. The video was created to answer the question "will it work on drums other than timpani?" The answer is that it works well on many other types of drums, provided that a suitable mounting is achieved and that the drumhead in fact resonates with a discernable tone. As you can see in the video, the Timp-Tuner™ worked reasonably well on many of the drums that were tried. It may work for your tuneable drums, provided that you can mount it so that the ustrasonic sensor head is fixed relative to the drumhead.
